You MUST have DirectX 9.0b or higher installed before you install Creative WebCam Center 1.71.02.

  • To check the version of your Direct X application
    1. Click Start -> Run...
    2. Type"dxdiag" and click the OK button.
      The DirectX Diagnostic Tool dialog box appears displaying the version number under the System Information section of the System tab.
    3. Click the Exit button to close the dialog box.
  • If you do not have DirectX 9.0b or higher
    1. Download the latest DirectX installation file here.
    2. Save the download onto your hard disk.
    3. Double-click the file and follow the instructions on the screen.

    • Supports video broadcast through Yahoo! Messenger (except Yahoo! Messenger Japan only)
    • Adds motion detection notification via Yahoo! video broadcast
