You can use VidCap as an alternative to the Ulead® software originally bundled with Sound Blaster Audigy® 2 ZS Video Editor to capture video. You can then use any video editing software to edit and create DVDs. VidCap features hardware encoding to accelerate DV-to-MPEG file conversion. VidCap is a video capturing application that enables you to:
- capture video from video cameras, VCRs, televisions, or other external video devices to your computer.
- convert video files to other supported formats (including hardware-accelerated DV-to-MPEG).
- export video files from video applications back to the external video devices.
Requirements:
- Microsoft® Windows Vista™ (32-bit)
- Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor connected
Notes:
- VidCap is available in English only.
- Before installing this update for your Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor, make sure that no other applications are running or active in your computer.
- While installing this update, do not disconnect Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor.
- To install this download:
- Double-click the downloaded file.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Video files captured with VidCap can be imported into video applications.
- All source and destination devices must be connected to your Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor when using with VidCap.
