This is a firmware upgrade for your NOMAD® MuVo® NX player. For complete functionality, confirm that you meet the requirements listed below before installing this update.
Important: You must install NOMAD MuVo NX Driver version 1.01.02 before installing this firmware upgrade, regardless of the Windows® operating system you are using. Please note that having to install drivers for your NOMAD MuVo NX player in Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Millennium (Me) is unique to this firmware upgrade. Typically, only Windows 98 Second Edition (SE) users have to install drivers for their NOMAD MuVo NX players to function properly.
Added Features or Enhancements:
- Supports the playback of WMA tracks with DRM (Digital Rights Management) content protection. These tracks can be played after being transferred from Creative MediaSource or Windows Media Player to your NOMAD MuVo NX player. Important: To transfer WMA tracks with DRM content protection to your player, you must have NOMAD MuVo Pack (version 1.02.06 or later) for Creative MediaSource installed.
- Enables you to format your MuVo NX player in Windows Explorer using the FAT16 or FAT32 file system.
- Adds Chinese Simplified and Korean language support.
- Supports the display of Russian (Cyrillic) ID3 tag information for MP3 and WMA files in your player. NOMAD MuVo Pack (version 1.02.06 or later) for Creative MediaSource must be installed for full and correct functionality.
Fixes:
- Resolves the issue where voice recordings are not saved when your player's battery level is low.

- NOMAD MuVo NX Driver version 1.01.02 already installed
- NOMAD MuVo Pack (version 1.02.06 or later) for Creative MediaSource
Notes:
- This firmware update only works with NOMAD MuVo NX players. Do not install this upgrade to a NOMAD MuVo or NOMAD MuVo TX player.
- To install this firmware upgrade, do the following:
- Transfer all files from your player to your computer before installing the firmware upgrade.
- Connect your player to your computer while pressing and holding the Play button. Keep the Play button depressed for 10 seconds after the player is connected to your computer. After releasing the Play button, a dialog box may appear, prompting you to install a Player Recovery Device driver. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the device driver installation.
- Once the Player Recovery Device driver installation is complete, double-click the firmware upgrade .EXE file.
- When the NOMAD MuVo NX Firmware Download dialog box appears, click the Start button.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the upgrade.
- Disconnect your player.
