Notes:

• Make sure that you have uninstalled the existing modem driver before installing the driver update. To uninstall the existing modem driver, do the following:

In Windows XP/2000:

1. For Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel.
   For Windows 2000, click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
3. Click the Change or Remove Programs button.
4. Click your modem, and then click the Change/Remove button.
5. Restart your computer.

In Windows Me/98 SE:

1. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. The Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box appears.
3. Click the Install/Uninstall tab.
4. Click your modem, and then click the Add/Remove button.
5. Restart your computer.

• To install the driver update, double-click the driver update file and follow the instructions on the screen.
