• To install this firmware
  1. Download the VADO_PCFW_US_1190.exe file into your local hard disk.
  2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions on the screen.
     
• After upgrading the firmware, the Anti-Flicker setting will be reset to 50Hz. You may adjust again according to your needs later from the menu options.

• If you are using the Vado Central software included with Vado or Vado HD (1st or 2nd Gen), installing this download will remove the Muvee plugin. If you wish to continue using this plugin, do not install this download.

• Installing the updated Vado Central software will not affect or erase existing videos in your Vado/Vado HD.

• Due to security reasons, Windows 7 disables the AutoPlay feature for non-optical storage devices. Hence, the Vado Central software will not automatically launch when you connect the device to the computer. To run this software: 
  1. In Windows Explorer, browse to the "Vado" folder of your Vado/Vado HD.
  2. Double-click VadoCentral.exe.
