This download contains an improved version of the firmware found on your Creative NOMAD MuVo™ TX. It enables you to play Audible® content on your player. For more details, read the rest of this web release note.

Enhancement:

• Supports Audible playback.
  Important: to transfer Audible content, you must have AudibleManager® version 5 or later installed. AudibleManager allows you to download, burn, organize, transfer and hear Audible audio content. Download AudibleManager from www.audible.com/software.

Fix:

• Resolves the issue of your player (battery level full) turning off, while playing a 128 kbps DRM-protected WMA file.

• Available USB port (version 1.1 or higher)
• Creative NOMAD MuVo TX
• For Windows 98 SE only: Creative MuVo TX Driver 1.00.05.250, available from the Internet

Notes:

• This firmware only works with Creative NOMAD MuVo TX players. Do not install this firmware for other players.
• You will lose all content in your player when you install the firmware. Back up any audio or data files in your player to your computer before installing the firmware.
• To install this firmware, do the following:
  1. Download the MuVoTX_PCFW_LF_1_22_03.exe file into your local hard disk.
  2. Make sure your player is connected to your computer.
  3. Double-click the downloaded file.
  4. If you are prompted to reset your player, click OK.
  5. If the Find New Hardware dialog box appears on the computer screen, follow the instructions on the screen to complete the wizard.
  6. When the firmware download dialog box appears, click Start and follow the instructions on the screen.

This update addresses a security vulnerability that Creative users face when using Gracenote© services like MusicID™ (formerly known as CDDB™). For more details, read the rest of this web release note. You must already have one of the following applications listed in Requirements below on your computer to perform this update successfully.
