Added Features or Enhancements:

• Improves the loading time of Audio Control Panel.
• Enables selection of other microphones under the Microphone Effects tab of Audio Control Panel.

Fixes:
Resolves the following issues:

• Microphone volume level is not saved in each Creative Console Launcher mode.
  Requires the latest Creative Console Launcher application (v2.61.49).
• No sound is passed through S/PDIF output when playing back DVD movies using Windows Media® Player 12.
• Buttons on the X-Fi I/O drive do not work in Windows XP. 
• Occasional unresponsiveness in Audio Control Panel when configuring the Flexijack.
• Speaker Configuration in Audio Control Panel is not synchronized when Headphones option is selected in Game Mode or Audio Creation Mode.
• System becomes unresponsive when shutting down Windows while DTS® Connect is enabled.

Known Issues:

• Audio stutters during the opening video for certain game titles while Dolby Digital® Live is enabled. This issue occurs on certain hardware and OS configurations only. More details and a workaround are available here.

Note:

• To install this firmware, do the following:
  1. Download the ZENX-FiStyle_PCFW_L22_1_03_04.exe file into your local hard disk.
  2. Close all application windows that are currently running on your computer.
  3. Connect your player to your computer.
  4. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions on the screen.

This download contains the latest firmware for your Creative Live!® Cam Sync (VF0520). It resolves the device detection issue on certain systems. For more details, read the rest of this web release note.

Fixes:

• Resolves the issue of Live! Cam Sync not being detected by the Creative Live! Central 2 (Lite) application. 

Requirements:

• Creative Live! Cam Sync (VF0520)

Notes:

• This download upgrades the firmware of your Live! Cam Sync.
• If you are using a notebook computer, it is recommended to power it by the mains, and not by the battery.
• It is recommended that you connect Live! Cam Sync directly to your computer. Do not connect it to a USB hub.
• To install this firmware
  1. Download the LCSY_PCFW_US_0614.exe file onto your local hard disk.
  2. Close all application and Windows Explorer windows that are currently running.
  3. Connect Live! Cam Sync to your computer.
  4. Double-click the downloaded file.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
     WARNING: Do not disconnect Live! Cam Sync while the firmware is being upgraded. 
• After installing this firmware, you will need to disconnect Live! Cam Sync, then reconnect it to your system.
• If you disconnect and reconnect Live! Cam Sync while Live! Central 2 (Lite) is running, there may be a slight delay before the application detects the device again. Please close and re-launch the application.

This firmware update resolves the following issues:

• The Play All function (activated by pressing and holding the playback button) does not play the videos beyond the 255th recorded video.
• Video cam stops responding during fast forward/rewind operations.
• Jerky video playback when video is recorded in low-light conditions.

• If you are using the Vado Central software included with Vado or Vado HD (1st or 2nd Gen), installing this download will remove the Muvee plugin. If you wish to continue using this plugin, do not install this download.

• Installing the updated Vado Central software will not affect or erase existing videos in your Vado/Vado HD.

• Due to security reasons, Windows 7 disables the AutoPlay feature for non-optical storage devices. Hence, the Vado Central software will not automatically launch when you connect the device to the computer. To run this software: 
  1. In Windows Explorer, browse to the "Vado" folder of your Vado/Vado HD.
  2. Double-click VadoCentral.exe.

  6. Disconnect your Vado HD from your computer's USB port.
  7. Turn on your Vado HD.
  8. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
