This is the firmware originally found on your Creative MuVo®² FM player.

This is a firmware upgrade for your Creative MuVo® Sport C100 player. For complete functionality, confirm that you meet the requirements listed below before installing this update.

Fixes:

• Resolves the USB connection issue when the player is used with Windows® 98 Second Edition (SE)
• Enables proper display of root folder symbols for non-English files transferred to your player
• Resolves the issue of the player not responding after the computer is turned off with the player connected
• Enables player and media card detection after your computer is restarted
• Resolves the issue where audio tracks may not resume playback after you restart your player. This may occur when you switch to FM mode while playing audio tracks, and then restart your player.
• Resolves the issue where no message appears after the player is formatted in the NTFS file system.
• Resolves the issue where folder name sequence is inconsistent.

This download contains an improved version of the driver found on the Creative MuVo® TX installation CD. It ensures that your player functions properly in the Microsoft® Windows® 98 Second Edition (SE) operating system.

Fixes:

• Improves player functionality when the Random and Next buttons are pressed.
• Resets the Custom EQ settings when resetting your player's settings.
• Improves the display order of the Touch Pad sensitivity settings.
• Improves the continuous playback of WMA and MP3 tracks.

Note:

• To install this firmware update, do the following:
1. Download the ZenTouch_PCFW_L4_1_01_03.exe file into your local hard disk.
2. Connect the player to your computer.
3. Double-click the firmware upgrade file and follow the instructions on the screen.

Added Features or Enhancements:

• Supports Audible audio Type 4.
• Activates your Zen Xtra player in order to listen to and manage your Audible audio.
• Enables you to navigate sections within Audible audio by using the “Goto Section” feature from the “Now Playing” screen.
• Enables you to return to the last playback position of Audible programs after playing other audio tracks.

(For full Audible audio support, you will also need to install Creative Jukebox Driver Update version 1.26.02.)

Notes:

• Before installing the firmware update, be sure that you have:
• Charged the player's battery
• Connected the power cable
• Turned off your player
• Disconnected your player's USB cable from your computer
• To install the firmware update, you must first remove the firmware in your player using the Reload OS function:

1. Press and hold the Play button, while inserting a pin or paper clip into the Reset button on your player. The Reset button is near the Volume buttons.
   The player starts up in Rescue mode.
2. Select the Reload OS option.
   The current firmware will be erased from the player.
3. Connect your player to your computer with the USB cable.
4. Double-click the firmware file, and follow the instructions on the screen.
5. When prompted, click the Upgrade option.
6. When the upgrade is complete, your player restarts.
   A "rebuilding the library" message appears on your player's LCD. This message disappears when your player has finished rebuilding the music library.
   The firmware is now updated.

This update is only applicable to MuVo® Media Explorer (version 1.00.13 or earlier) users. It delivers improvements to existing features and adds new functionality to MuVo Media Explorer.

Added Features or Enhancements:

• Adds a Properties option to right-click shortcut menus in Windows® Millenium Edition (Me) and Windows 98 Second Edition (SE)
• Enables the in-place editing of ID3 tags
• Improves the usability of Audio CD Ripper
• Adds drag-and-drop functionality to the root node of MuVo Media Explorer

• Improves error handling during MP3 file format conversion, when the track being converted is located in, or is transferred to, a device that is running low on disk space

Notes:

• To check your MuVo Media Explorer version number:
1. Launch Windows Explorer.
2. Click the My Computer icon.
3. Click the MuVo C100 Media Explorer icon.
4. Click Help -> About MuVo C100 Media Explorer. The dialog box shows the version number.
5. Click the OK button.

• This update only works with Creative MuVo C100 players. Do not install this update if you own a MuVo N100 or MuVo N200 player.

This is the latest driver release for Creative Sound Blaster® Wireless Music users running Windows® XP, Windows 2000, Windows Me (Millennium) or Windows 98 SE (Second Edition) on their computers.

Notes:

• This driver has been certified by Microsoft®'s Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) and has been tested on Creative Sound Blaster Wireless Music only.

Creative NOMAD Explorer enables you to conveniently manage your NOMAD player's music and data library with Microsoft® Windows® Explorer.

You can use Creative NOMAD Explorer to:

• drag and drop songs and data files between your computer and NOMAD player
• manage songs in your NOMAD player's music library
• manage data files in your NOMAD player's data library
• create and edit playlists on your NOMAD player
• edit track properties in your NOMAD player's music library

After installing Creative NOMAD Explorer, you can find the NOMAD Explorer icon in Windows Explorer, under My Computer.
