This patch is for products bundled with Creative Disc Detector. When Disc Detector is installed in your computer, the Autorun or Autoplay feature in Windows may become disabled.

Download this patch only if the Autorun or Autoplay feature is disabled; there is no need to download it otherwise.

INSTALLING THE CREATIVE DISC DETECTOR INSTALLATION PATCH UTILITY
----------------------------------------------------------------
1) Copy the DDInsUpd.exe file into any folder on your hard disk.
2) Double-click the DDInsUpd.EXE file. The utility runs automatically.

If for some reason, you need to reinstall Disc Detector, run this patch again. Hide Details »

This is the latest NOMAD Jukebox 3 firmware v1.11.07 for users using Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows 2000, Windows Millennium and Windows XP.

Firmware enhancement includes:-

• Enhanced language support
  This firmware upgrade provides additional display support for Korean and Traditional Chinese.
• User-defined EQ preset
  In Advanced EQ, you can now define your own equalizer setting.
• Improved long ID3 tag support
  This upgrade enhances Creative PlayCenter''s ability to display large numbers of tracks with lengthy ID3 tag information.
• Wired Remote recording
  The Jukebox''s buttons are now disabled during recording with the Wired Remote.
• Improved WMA playback
  The fast forward and reverse controls now work better when playing WMA tracks.

Note:
This firmware upgrade is intended for users who currently own a NOMAD Jukebox 3 only. It does not work on a NOMAD Jukebox 6/10/20GB.

This is the latest Creative Disc Detector update for use with NOMAD Jukebox 3 and is only meant for users with PlayCenter 3 v3.02.09 and v3.02.11.

It resolves compatibility problems encountered on some portable storage devices.

This update :-

1. Only works for Disc Detector 2.00 (build 6)
   
2. It will not install if Disc Detector 2.00 build 5 or lower is detected.
   
3. If the installer detects a higher build version, installation will still continue but nothing will be updated.
   
4. Supports 11 languages:
       - English, Brazilian-Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian
       - Japanese, Korean, Chinese Traditional, Chinese Simplified
5. Supports the following Operating Systems
       - Windows 95/98/98SE, Windows NT4, Windows Millennium
         Windows 2000 and Windows XP

This is the latest NOMAD Jukebox 3 firmware v1.10.06 for users using Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows 2000, Windows Millennium and Windows XP.

Firmware enhancement includes:-

• Support for eight languages.
  This new upgrade provides additional display support for Spanish, Dutch and Italian.
• Improved Japanese language dictionary searches
  The searches have been greatly enhanced both in speed and scope.
• Improved IR reception
  IR reception is enhanced by about 25%.
• Other firmware enhancements
  Jukebox 3 functions smoothly when Smart Volume Management and EAX are turned on simultaneously.
