This patch is for products bundled with Creative Disc Detector. When Disc Detector is installed in your computer, the Autorun or Autoplay feature in Windows may become disabled.

Download this patch only if the Autorun or Autoplay feature is disabled; there is no need to download it otherwise.

INSTALLING THE CREATIVE DISC DETECTOR INSTALLATION PATCH UTILITY

1) Copy the DDInsUpd.exe file into any folder on your hard disk.
2) Double-click the DDInsUpd.EXE file. The utility runs automatically.

If for some reason, you need to reinstall Disc Detector, run this patch again. Hide Details »

This driver update (version 1.15) is for Creative Prodikeys (version 1.1 and 1.15) on Windows 98SE, Windows 2000, Windows Millennium and Windows XP.

*Important: This driver only works for Creative Prodikeys (version 1.1 and 1.15).
Driver update for Creative Prodikeys (version 1.0) will be available soon.
The software version number can be found on the splash screen at the startup of the software.

This update includes:

• Octave Shift and Sustain function (for MIDI sequencing software)
  Enables you to add sustain effect, and expand the MIDI keyboard virtually to play notes on higher or lower octaves when using other MIDI sequencing software such as Cakewalk.
  • Press the 2^nd Internet portal button (labeled Prodikeys) to add sustain effects.
  • Press the 1^st Internet Portal button (labeled Creative) to shift the pitch of the MIDI keys an octave lower
  • Press the 3^rd button (labeled SoundFont) to shift the pitch of the MIDI keys an octave higher.

• Motherboard compatibility
  Enables wider compatibility with various motherboards.

This driver update is for the Modem Blaster v.92 External (DE5621) for users running Windows XP.

Do NOT install the modem drivers if your Pentium(R) 4 computer (3Ghz and above) is running with Hyper-Threading enabled.

***Hyper-Threading is a new Intel(R) technology that enables a single CPU to operate as two virtual CPUs for enhanced multitasking performance. Future driver releases will address this compatibility issue.***

This update includes:
*Improvements in the ability to place outgoing MOH calls
