To download the latest software application for your webcam, go to support.creative.com > select Web Cameras > select Creative Live! Cam Sync HD > Under Quick Links > select Downloads.

After you have installed the software, you can launch the Live! Central 3 application from the Windows system tray by left-clicking on it.

Alternatively, you can also launch the application from your Windows desktop; Click Start --> All Programs --> Creative---> Creative Live! Cam --> Creative Live! Central 3. When Live! Central 3 is launched, it will automatically go into capture mode. The Live! Cam will display a greenish yellow LED light on the left side of the camera.

The screenshot below shows the main view of Live! Central 3 for Live! Cam Sync HD. The main windows shows where the Live! Cam is pointing at. You can either take photos or record a video from this position. Settings are located on the right panel, and they are: Picture Control, Auto Tuning, Noise Cancellation, and Parental Control.

Along the bottom, there are various functions to organize the files and upload content to the web. The screenshot shows the Live Central3 in Capture mode. When the Live! Central3 is selected as IM(Instant Messaging) mode, it will contract to show just the "Settings" portion at the right panel. From here, the Live! Central3 can be used along-side with other instant messaging applications such as Skype or Windows Messenger.
