Uninstalling Sound Blaster Softwares and Applications (Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite)

  • When Sound Blaster drivers and applications are installed incorrectly, it is recommended that you uninstall them with Mac OS X Applications.

 To uninstall an application under Mac OS X, it can be done via Mac OS X  Applications.

1. Login to Mac OS X with an administrator account. If you are not logged in as an administrator, you will be asked to enter a password when you uninstall an application.

2. Go to the Finder menu, click on Go and select Applications.

3. Open the folder Creative and select Creative Uninstaller.

4. Check on the application that you want to remove and click Uninstall.

 To remove the application's preferences (optional).

1. Go to the Finder menu, click on Go and hold down Option key on your keyboard.

2. Library will appear in the drop down and click on Library.

3. Use the search bar on the Library folder to search for Sound Blaster.

4. Delete only files and folders with the Sound Blaster naming.
