Transferring Music and Data Files to a ZEN Stone Series Player Using Media Lite

Summary:

  • Creative Media Lite is capable of transferring both music files and data files to a ZEN Stone / Stone with Speaker or ZEN Stone Plus / Stone Plus with Speaker
  • The ZEN Stone / Stone with Speaker and ZEN Stone Plus / Stone Plus with Speaker can hold files of any file type. However, only .MP3, .WMA and .AUD (Audible) files will be playable from the player

Transferring Audio Files

  1. Connect the player to the PC.
  2. Open Creative Media Lite.
  3. Browse to the location on the PC where the music files are stored.
  4. Select the track(s) to transfer to the player. To select multiple tracks, hold the CTRL key while clicking on each track to select.

  6. Click the green arrow pointing to the right (the side the player's contents are displayed on).

  8. The Transferring to ZEN Stone... window will open and show the status of the transfer. Once the tracks are transferred to the player, the window will close.

Transferring Data Files

Note: The player will only be able to recognize files in the WMA or MP3 format. These files will end with .WMA or .MP3.

  1. Connect the player to the PC.
  2. Open Creative Media Lite.
  3. Click View Music Files only and from the list that appears select View All Files.

  5. Browse to the location on the PC where the files are stored.
  6. Select the file(s) to transfer to the player. To select multiple files, hold the CTRL key while clicking on each file to select.

  8. Click the green arrow pointing to the right (the side the player's contents are displayed on).

  10. The Transferring to ZEN Stone... window will open and show the status of the transfer. Once the tracks are transferred to the player, the window will close.
