Unable to apply effects (reverb/chorus) to MIDI files using Music Creation Mode
Keywords / Key Phrases: cannot apply effects, reverb, chorus, MIDI, music creation

The reverb or chorus effects in the Music Creation Mode is only applicable to audio files such as Wave. MIDI files are in fact data files, not audio files therefore the reverb and chorus is not being applied to the MIDI playback. Thus getting the MIDI playback to accept reverb and chorus is not possible.

An alternative solution is to loop back the output from the sound card line-out into the line-in and select the line-in as an Input in the Music Creation Mode. It is possible to apply the reverb and chorus to the Input as it would be in Wave audio format.

For additional information, please refer to the help file by pressing the function button "F1" when the Music Creation Mode is active.
