Delay from internal sound card when guitar is strummed
Keywords / Key Phrases: delay, latency

It is unlikely for an PCI sound card to have a delayed output from the guitar connected to the input for 1 to 2 seconds. One possible reason could be due to an IRQ conflict between the sound card and another device on the computer.

To resolve this conflict, please change the sound card to another PCI slot. For detailed instructions on how to install or move an expansion card such as a Sound Blaster card, please refer to the Sound Blaster manual or the manual of your PC.
