The Live! Cam Connect HD is a UVC compliant camera, which means it can work without any drivers and applications installed. However, without these software applications, the camera's features and functions will not be fully optimized.

To install the camera, do the following steps:

  1. Connect the camera to any available USB port of the computer. When the camera is connected to the computer, the camera is detected as an audio device, which refers to the camera's built-in microphone.

  2. Insert the Installation CD into your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM or Combo drive. Your CD will start automatically. If it does not, follow either of the 3 steps below:
    1. Double-click on the My Computer icon. Alternatively, click Start > My Computer. Right-click the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive icon, and then click AutoPlay.
    2. Double-click on My Computer icon. Right-click on the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive icon, and then click Open/Explore. Double-click the Setup.exe file.
    3. You can also run the Setup.exe file manually.

Note: You can also download the latest driver and application from our support website by going to this link.

  4. At the Software License Agreement, select Yes to proceed with the installation.

  5. Choose either Typical or Custom to select the components to install.

If you select Custom, you will have the option to uncheck the software components that you do not wish to install.
