This download contains an updated firmware for Creative T100. For more details, please read the rest of this web release note.

This download supports and is applicable for the following hardware:

• Creative T100

Fixes:

• When the speakers are connected via Bluetooth, the connected computer's system volume is automatically muted when the system wakes up from Standby Mode. This is found to be a bug, and it can be resolved via a firmware update by following these instructions below.

Requirements:

• A thumbdrive with capacity below 32Gb

Notes:

• To install this firmware, do the following:
  1. Download the file onto your local hard disk.
  2. Unzip downloaded file.
  3. Copy the file 'app.bin' to an empty USB flash drive that is formatted in FAT32.
  4. Power on the Creative T100 speakers (the speakers can be in any input mode).
  5. Insert the USB flash drive into the speaker's USB-A port. The LED will turn purple, indicating that the firmware upgrade is in progress. Note that this update may take up to 10 seconds
  6. Once the firmware update is successful, the red LED light indicator will come on, and the speakers will turn off automatically.
  7. Unplug the USB flash drive and DC jack from the Creative T100.
  8. Please allow for about 10 seconds before powering on the Creative T100 again.
  9. Delete all files from your USB flash drive after use.
