This firmware update provides improvements to your Sound Blaster Wireless Music Remote Control and Receiver. Be sure to download and install Creative Sound Blaster Wireless Music Software Upgrade version 1.20.02 as well, to enjoy full functionality.

New Features or Enhancements

• Increases the number of artists and albums available for selection on the remote control.
• Enables the direct selection of receivers and adjustment of remote frequency settings using the remote control.
• Adds Sleep mode, which reduces power consumption. The Receiver unit goes into Sleep mode after the Power button on the remote control is pressed.
• Reduces the period of silence between tracks in multiple track playback.

• If you already have Creative Sound Blaster Wireless Music Firmware Upgrade version 1.20.02 installed in your device, you can also download this firmware update to increase the responsiveness of the receiver and remote control.

With Face Tracking, your camera automatically zooms in on your face during any video recording or capturing session. You can use Face Tracking in PC-CAM Center or in any instant messaging application that allows video messaging.

Using color detection technology that locks on to skin tone, your camera zooms in on and frames your face in real time. Your camera also frames all faces if there is more than one face in your camera's field of view.

This update upgrades your player's firmware.

Fixes:

• Supports the display of Russian (Cyrillic) ID3 tag information for MP3 and WMA files in your player. NOMAD Jukebox 2/3/Zen Pack (version 1.01.12 or later) for Creative MediaSource is necessary for full and correct functionality.
• Extends your player's language support options to include Chinese Traditional and Korean languages

• Removes distortion (popping sound) during DVD playback on selected motherboards.
• Ensures WinDVD continues to respond when Video Hardware Acceleration is enabled.

This firmware update allows you to use the Creative FM Wired Remote with your Creative NOMAD® MuVo®² (1.5 GB) player. The Creative FM Wired Remote allows you to access the controls of your player without having to take the player out of your bag or pocket. In addition, the Creative FM Wired Remote adds an FM Tuner with up to 32 preset FM channels, and a built-in microphone for voice recordings.

This firmware update also extends the language display capability of your Creative NOMAD MuVo² (1.5 GB) player.

Firmware Enhancements:

• Adds support for Creative FM Wired Remote functions (Voice Recording, FM Tuner, and FM Recording). These functions can be accessed from the root menu of your player or via the Mode button on the Creative FM Wired Remote.
• Shifts the Folder (Root) and Playlist options to the root menu for improved accessibility.
• Adds Chinese Simplified and Korean language support.

• FM and voice recordings are stored in the VOICE folder on your player. The VOICE folder can be accessed from your computer when the player is connected to your computer's USB port.

• This firmware update only works with NOMAD MuVo² (1.5 GB) players. Do not install this update if you own a NOMAD MuVo² player in a different storage capacity.

Notes:

• To check the version number of your Creative PlayCenter, do the following:
1. Launch Creative PlayCenter.
2. Click File -> About PlayCenter.
3. Check that your Creative PlayCenter application's version number is 3.02.67.
4. Click the OK button.
• If your Creative PlayCenter application is version 3.02.67, you may proceed to download and install the Creative PlayCenter patch.
  If your Creative PlayCenter application is an earlier version, you must download and install the PLC20031009.exe file before installing this Creative PlayCenter patch.
  To locate and install the PLC20031009.exe file, do the following:
1. Go to http://www.creative.com.
2. Click the Support link and select your region.
3. Click the DRIVERS SEARCH or Download Drivers link.
4. Click the Search by file name box and type PLC20031009.exe.
5. Click the Search button.
6. Click the Download Now or Download button.
• To install the patch, double-click the patch file and follow the instructions on the screen.

This update adds full DTS Neo:6 functionality to the Sound Blaster® Audigy™ 2 ZS series of audio products when used in conjunction with Creative MediaSource version 2.02.06 or later (see ‘Notes’ below).

New Features or Enhancements:

• Enables users with 5.1 or 6.1 speaker systems to derive five or six full-band channels of audio from two-channel matrix-encoded sources. The result is a richer and more natural aural experience, a luxury that owners of discrete multi-channel systems have increasingly come to expect.

• To ensure full DTS Neo:6 functionality, download and install the Creative MediaSource 2 Update (version 2.02.06) for Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS.

1. Launch Creative MediaSource.
2. Click Help on the menu bar.
3. Click the About Creative MediaSource option.
   The dialog box shows the version number.
4. Click the OK button.
