• Resolves the issue of the Modem Choice dialog box appearing when NetWaiting is launched

• Make sure that you have uninstalled the existing NetWaiting application before installing this software update. To uninstall the existing NetWaiting application, do the following:

In Windows XP/2000:

1. For Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel.
   For Windows 2000, click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
3. Click the Change or Remove Programs button.
4. Click NetWaiting, and then click the Change/Remove button.
5. Restart your computer.

In Windows Me/98 SE:

1. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. The Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box appears.
3. Click the Install/Uninstall tab.
4. Click NetWaiting, and then click the Add/Remove button.
5. Restart your computer.

This is the latest NOMAD® Jukebox Zen USB 2.0 firmware (version 1.11.01) for users with computers running Windows® XP, Windows 2000, Windows Millennium, or Windows 98SE.

Firmware Enhancements:

• Adds support for up to 16,000 songs
• Enables autoscrolling of track titles when the player is idle
• Adds a Time & Date display
• Allows continuous recording past the 10 hour mark with Wired Remote if sufficient hard disk space is available
• Adds the Selected Music option to the main menu
• Displays queued playlists as groups rather than flat lists in the Selected Music screen
• Adds the Play any track option to the Music Library menu
• Adds the Reset Settings option to the Settings menu
• Adds a new skin for the Now Playing screen
• Adds a new Profiles feature

Fixes:

• Resolves previously encountered issue where the player stops responding after USB charging is completed
• Supports WMA9 VBR songs with bitrates higher than 200kbps

Notes:

• To install this firmware:

1. Download and extract the firmware by executing (JBZen2PCFW_1_11_01.exe) on your computer.
2. Be sure that you have connected the power adapter
   to your player.
3. Attach your player to your computer.
4. Close all other software applications.
5. Click the Zen(USB2.0)Upgrade_1_11_01.exe file. Follow the onscreen instructions.
6. When Windows informs you that the player is detected, click the Upgrade button.
7. When the "Player is now rebooting" message appears on your computer, and the "Please Reset Player" message appears on your player's screen, your player will automatically reset itself.
8. Click the Close button.
9. Detach your player from your computer.

• This firmware does not work with NOMAD Jukebox Zen USB1.1/1394.
