• To check the version number of your Theme Engine, do the following:
1. Click Start -> Programs/All Programs -> Creative -> Creative MediaSource -> Creative MediaSource Player.
2. Click the Help button and click About Creative MediaSource.
3. Check the version number.

This update provides Windows 98SE and Windows Me users with full DVD-Audio playback support on Creative Sound Blaster® Audigy™ 2, Audigy 2 Digital Audio, Audigy 2 Platinum and Audigy 2 Platinum eX.

Before installing this update

Note that this web update is for Audigy 2 users who are using WDM drivers. User of VXD drivers must uninstall their existing VXD drivers and install the correct WDM drivers prior to installing this update.

• Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 or Audigy 2 Platinum eX audio card installed
• Intel(R) Pentium(R) III or AMD(R) Athlon(tm) 1 GHz or faster processor
