Resolves the following issues:

• Aux-In is incorrectly displayed as Mic-In when using the Creative ASIO driver. 
• Microphone input is missing. when using the Creative ASIO driver.
• System takes a long time or is unable to shutdown properly while Dolby Digital® Live or DTS® Connect is enabled.

This is the Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit compatible device driver for the E-MU Xmidi 1x1, Xmidi 1x1 Tab and Xmidi 2x2 products. For more details, read the rest of this web release note.

This Driver Package contains an updated version of the Xmidi driver. This release contains all software needed to support the Xmidi 1x1, Xmidi 1x1 Tab and 2x2 MIDI interfaces.

Before you install:

• If you have experienced a fault in any audio applications, you should reboot Windows before applying this update.

Fixes:
Resolves the following issues:

• Microphone volume level is not saved in each Creative Console Launcher mode.
  Requires the latest Creative Console Launcher application (v2.61.49).
• No sound is passed through S/PDIF output when playing back DVD movies using Windows Media® Player 12.
• Buttons on the X-Fi I/O drive do not work in Windows XP. 
• Occasional unresponsiveness in Audio Control Panel when configuring the Flexijack.
• Speaker Configuration in Audio Control Panel is not synchronized when Headphones option is selected in Game Mode or Audio Creation Mode.
• System becomes unresponsive when shutting down Windows while DTS® Connect is enabled.

Known Issues:

• Audio stutters during the opening video for certain game titles while Dolby Digital® Live is enabled. This issue occurs on certain hardware and OS configurations only. More details and a workaround are available here.

Known Issues:

• Driver decoding of Dolby/DTS audio does not work with Windows Media Player 12 in Windows 7. As a workaround, use a 3rd party software media player to playback DVDs.
• Applications from the original Sound Blaster Audigy CD will not work with this download on Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Click here to download the latest applications that are available for your product. 
• Users are advised to use Audio Console included in this download to change speaker configurations.
• Gameport is not supported in Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.
• 6.1 speaker mode is not supported by Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
