SoundFont Bank Manager

SoundFont Bank Manager is an application that gives you easy access and precise control over your SoundFont banks. With SoundFont Bank Manager you can:

• load, replace or remove SoundFont banks onto your computer's memory.
• organize, create and copy SoundFont presets.
• allocate or adjust the cache memory for SoundFont banks.
• audition all your SoundFont banks and presets with the virtual keyboard.

Requirements:

• Microsoft® Windows 7 64-bit or 32-bit, Microsoft Windows Vista 64-bit or 32-bit with Service Pack 1, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows XP Media Center Edition (MCE) 2005 or Windows XP MCE 2004

SoundFont Bank Manager

SoundFont Bank Manager is an application that gives you easy access and precise control over your SoundFont banks. With SoundFont Bank Manager you can:

This web release updates your Creative SoundFont® Bank Manager application.

Fixes

• Ensures that MIDI notes can be played back after the cache memory size or cache type (Dynamic or Static) is adjusted.
• Improves functionality when your audio device is removed without using the Safely Remove Hardware application.

Requirements

• Microsoft® Windows® XP (Service Pack 2) or Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4)
• Creative SoundFont Bank Manager version 3.00.16 installed.
• Creative PCMCIA Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook audio device installed

Notes

• To check the version number of your Creative SoundFont Bank Manager application, do the following:

1. Click Start -> Programs/All Programs -> Creative -> Sound Blaster Audigy 2 -> Creative SoundFont Bank Manager.
2. Click the SoundFont Bank Manager icon and click About SoundFont Bank Manager.
3. Check that the version number of your Creative SoundFont Bank Manager application is 3.00.16.
4. Close the Creative SoundFont Bank Manger window.

• If the version number of your Creative SoundFont Bank Manager application is not 3.00.16, you do not need to install this update.
• To install the update file, double-click the file and follow the instructions on the screen.

It includes:

• Creative SoundFont Bank Manager update (Version 1.00.26)

Fix

• Corrects the issue where the USB Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX driver is unable to unload when the USB device is turned off while SoundFont Bank Manager is running on your computer

Requirements

• Windows XP, 2000, Me (Millennium Edition), 98 SE (Second Edition)
• USB Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX installed and connected

Notes

• Before you use this update for your Audigy 2 NX, make sure that no other applications are running or active in your computer.
• When installing this update, do not disconnect Audigy 2 NX.
