This is the Creative WebCam Live! Ultra for Notebooks driver found on the installation CD.

Requirements:

This web release enables you to upgrade the firmware for your 1, 4, 5 or 6GB Creative Zen Micro player, and provides Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional x64 Edition support for your player.

You can upgrade from Creative Zen Micro firmware 1.02.05 or earlier, or Zen Micro PlaysForSure™ firmware 2.00.12 or later.

Important: If you are upgrading from PlaysForSure firmware, be sure to back up all the audio and data files on your Zen Micro before installing this firmware update as all content will be lost when you install the new firmware. After installing the new firmware, use Creative MediaSource™ to restore audio and/or data files to your player.

Enhancements

• Improves the look of the volume control bar
• Improves the appearance of the Lock icon
• Adds a 4GB option in Removable Disk Mode (for 5 or 6GB players only)
• Adds support for the Russian language
• Enables you to charge your player on a computer not installed with the player software. Slide the Power switch towards the Lock icon before charging your player. Note: Connect to a computer USB port only.

• Improves battery life by reducing Standby mode to only 4 hours. Your player enters Standby mode when you use the Sleep Timer or Idle Shutdown functions, or after you turn off your player.

Fixes

• Prevents battery drain when the player is charged with an AC adapter already plugged into a live power outlet
• Restores proper functionality after disconnecting the power adaptor or transferring content using Zen Media Explorer
• Redirects playback properly when skipping to the beginning of a WMA track

Note

To install the new firmware in your Zen Micro

1. Download ZenMicroPDE_PCFW_LB_1_11_01.exe.
2. Connect your player to your computer.
3. Double-click ZenMicroPDE_PCFW_LB_1_11_01.exe.
4. Choose your language.
5. Click the Upgrade button and follow the instructions that appear.

This standalone update provides improvements for your Creative USB Sound Blaster® series audio device on Microsoft® Windows® XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Service Pack 2 (SP2), and Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4) operating systems.

• If you have your Sound Blaster audio device Installation CD, be sure to complete the installation of Creative applications before installing this audio suite.
• Before you use this update for your Sound Blaster audio device, make sure that no other applications are running or active in your computer.
• When installing this audio suite, do not disconnect your Sound Blaster audio device.

This update improves the functionality of your Sound Blaster® Audigy® 2 ZS Video Editor by installing improved versions of Ulead® VideoStudio® 8 SE and Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3 SE.

IMPORTANT:

Do not download other Ulead application updates or versions from the Ulead website. The only versions compatible with your Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor are available on your installation CD or this web update.

Usage Notes

2. If you want to monitor your video editing results on a TV, you can set the Instant Playback device to DV Camcorder:
1. In VideoStudio, click File->Preferences.
2. Click the General tab.
3. In the Instant Playback device box, select the DV Camcorder option.
4. Click the OK button.

Notes:

• This driver update is only for use with Creative Modem Blaster V.92 Serial DE5621. Do not install this upgrade with any other modem.
• It is strongly recommended that you install this firmware upgrade along with the latest driver upgrade.

• Warning: Do not turn off your modem or shut down your computer during the firmware upgrade as it may damage your modem.

Firmware installation:

1. Download the firmware update to your computer.

2. Double-click the firmware upgrade file.

3. In the Modem Flash Loader dialog box that appears, select the Creative Modem Blaster V.92 DE5621 option, and click the Update Modem button.

4. In the Select Modem Files dialog box, select the ASCII Firmware Loader option in the Modem Loader/Unloader box.

5. In the Modem Firmware box, select the V.92 ITU Standard option. Click the OK button.

6. In the FlashCom32 dialog box, click the OK button to upload the firmware update files.

7. Click the OK button when the upload is complete.

8. In the Modem Flash Loader dialog box, click the Quit button.

This driver release updates your Creative Modem Blaster Serial V.92 DE5621. Updating your modem's drivers enhances the performance and capabilities of your modem.
