This standalone driver provides Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional x64 Edition support for the following Creative USB Sound Blaster® audio devices only:

• Sound Blaster Live!® 24-bit External
• Sound Blaster MP3+
• Sound Blaster Digital Music
• Sound Blaster Digital Music LX
• Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX

Requirements:

• Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system
• Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit External, Sound Blaster MP3+, Sound Blaster Digital Music, Sound Blaster Digital Music LX, or Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX
• Creative USB Sound Blaster Installation CD

Notes:

• This standalone driver supports the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system only.
• Make sure that your USB Sound Blaster audio device is properly connected to your computer before launching the driver.
• To install this driver:
• If you have not installed the applications on your Creative USB Sound Blaster Installation CD:
1. Uninstall any existing audio device drivers.
2. Close all other Windows applications.
3. Insert the USB Sound Blaster installation CD and install all the applications.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
5. Restart your computer to complete the driver installation.
• If you have installed the applications on your Creative Sound Blaster Installation CD:
1. Launch the Creative USB Sound Blaster series x64 driver.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen.
3. Restart your computer to complete the driver installation.
• After installing the Creative USB Sound Blaster x64 driver,
1. Download and install the Creative Basic Audio Suite for Creative Sound Blaster audio devices.
2. Launch the Creative Basic Audio Suite installation.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
4. Restart your computer to complete the installation.
• Your Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX audio device does not support DVD-Audio on Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.

Notes:

• This driver is only for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.
• This is an unsupported beta driver. Only experienced users should attempt installing this driver. Do not install this driver for critical tasks.
• This beta release is not digitally signed. When the Microsoft Digital Signature dialog box appears, click the Continue Anyway button.
• Do not install this driver for Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit series or USB Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit External audio devices.
• To install the driver, do the following:
1. Uninstall any existing audio device drivers.
2. Make sure that no other applications are running or active in your computer.
3. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions on the screen.
4. Restart your computer to complete the installation.

This standalone driver provides Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4) support for your Sound Blaster® Live! 24-bit and Sound Blaster Audigy® LS internal audio card.

Requirements:

• Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP SP2 or Windows 2000 SP4
• Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit or Sound Blaster Audigy LS audio card

Notes:

• The contents of this driver are similar to those in your original installation CD, with the addition of Windows XP Professional x64 support.
• This driver does not support USB Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit External audio devices.
• To install this driver:
1. Uninstall any existing audio device drivers before installing this driver.
2. Close all other Windows applications.
3. Launch the Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit and Audigy LS driver.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
5. Restart your computer to complete the driver installation.
• Subsequently, please download the Creative Basic Audio Suite for Creative Sound Blaster audio devices :
1. Launch Creative Basic Audio Suite for Creative Sound Blaster audio devices.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen.
3. Restart your computer to complete the driver installation.

Added Features or Enhancements

• Supports up to three subfolder levels in the root directory.
• Supports up to 500 playable tracks and 60 folders containing playable tracks.

Notes:

• This firmware upgrade is only for Creative MuVo Mix or MuVo USB 2.0 players. DO NOT install this upgrade to other players in the Creative MuVo series.
• To install this firmware upgrade, do the following:
1. Download the Muvo(USB2)_PCFW_LF_1_21_03.exe file into your local hard disk.
2. Disconnect your player from your computer if necessary.
3. Press and hold the Play button while connecting your player to the USB port.
4. Continue to hold the Play button for about 10 seconds after your player is connected to the USB port.
5. When the Find New Hardware dialog box appears on your computer screen, release the Play button.
6. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the wizard.
7. Double-click the firmware upgrade file and follow the instructions on the screen.
• To restore your player's firmware to its previous version after installing the firmware upgrade, follow steps 2 through 5.

This standalone update provides improvements for your Creative USB Sound Blaster® series audio device on Microsoft® Windows® XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Service Pack 2 (SP2), and Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4) operating systems.

• Before you use this update for your Sound Blaster audio device, make sure that no other applications are running or active in your computer.
• When installing this audio suite, do not disconnect your Sound Blaster audio device.

This update improves the functionality of your Sound Blaster® Audigy® 2 ZS Video Editor by installing improved versions of Ulead® VideoStudio® 8 SE and Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3 SE.

IMPORTANT:

Do not download other Ulead application updates or versions from the Ulead website. The only versions compatible with your Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor are available on your installation CD or this web update.

Usage Notes

1. You can find Ulead Application User Manuals at the following locations. Replace "C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems" with the drive and location where you had previously installed the Ulead applications.

2. If you want to monitor your video editing results on a TV, you can set the Instant Playback device to DV Camcorder:
1. In VideoStudio, click File->Preferences.
2. Click the General tab.
3. In the Instant Playback device box, select the DV Camcorder option.
4. Click the OK button.

This is the latest driver release for Creative Vista Plus.

This web release updates your Creative EAX Console application.

Fix

• Reduces the Windows® shut down or log off time when the Creative EAX Console application is in use.

Notes

• To check the version number of your Creative EAX Console application, do the following:

1. Click Start -> Programs/All Programs -> Creative -> Sound Blaster Audigy 2 -> Creative EAX Console.
2. Click the How Do I button and click About Creative EAX Console
3. Check that the version number of your Creative EAX Console application is 2.10.06.
4. Close the Creative EAX Console window.

• If the version number of your Creative EAX Console application is not 2.10.06, you do not need to install this update.
• To install the update file, double-click the file and follow the instructions on the screen.

This web release updates your Creative SoundFont® Bank Manager application.

Fixes

• Ensures that MIDI notes can be played back after the cache memory size or cache type (Dynamic or Static) is adjusted.
• Improves functionality when your audio device is removed without using the Safely Remove Hardware application.

• To check the version number of your Creative SoundFont Bank Manager application, do the following:

1. Click Start -> Programs/All Programs -> Creative -> Sound Blaster Audigy 2 -> Creative SoundFont Bank Manager.
2. Click the SoundFont Bank Manager icon and click About SoundFont Bank Manager.
3. Check that the version number of your Creative SoundFont Bank Manager application is 3.00.16.
4. Close the Creative SoundFont Bank Manger window.

• If the version number of your Creative SoundFont Bank Manager application is not 3.00.16, you do not need to install this update.
• To install the update file, double-click the file and follow the instructions on the screen.
